The Anti-Ragging Cell of a Mahavidyalaya plays an important role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and friendly environment for all students. Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging without fear, and their complaints are treated with confidentiality and sensitivity. The Cell also organizes awareness programmes, orientations, counselling sessions, and campaigns, particularly for newly admitted students, to promote mutual respect and healthy interaction among senior and junior students. In case of a complaint, the Cell conducts a fair inquiry and recommends appropriate action according to the applicable rules. It also works to ensure that students feel secure and can pursue their education without fear or discrimination.
